Great store! Was looking for some advice about floor lamps or alternatives for my condo. Didnt really get the attention. Had to do my own research. Also purchased a tool. Was satisfied with the experience.
Secondly, the person at the Dublin store (I can't remember if she was customer service or worked in the appliance dept--I think the former), Ashley, was fabulous. She was professional, cheerful, and knew exactly how to help me buy a dishwasher and arrange installation at my CA condo. Go, Ashley!
One note: the people that handle their email and phone customer service are friendly and responsive. They get the star.
I've made the mistake of placing three orders for pick up from this place. For two of the orders we waited at the Customer Service desk as instructed. We waited and waited and waited. Both times, one person was working the other side of the desk, which is Returns. Both times, that person saw us waiting and kept taking return after return from people that came in well after us. She didn't acknowledge us or call someone else for help. The last order, a customer on the Returns side of the desk pointed to us and asked her to help us. Only then did she call someone. There was another woman there, but she was busy on what seemed to be a personal call. When we did get help, they couldn't find one of our orders in the system, even though someone had called us and assured us it would be waiting. Initially, when I asked for a refund of the one we didn't get, they told me their system indicated that I had picked it up. However, after I replied, they called me and said the refund was processed.
First of all, I was unable to change online from my Champaign IL store to Lowe's Dublin CA store. Very poor website!
I always have a great experience at Lowe's. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful and I am able to find just about everything I need and usually at a great price. Can't beat that combination
I like this Lowes. To me customer service is always nice but then I use the pro side more than the regular customer side when checking out. The store is clean, well stocked and there is ample parking. Sometimes it might take some time to get some one help you in the lumbar department particularly when you want to have things cut.
