Generally well-maintained, with museums, good for walking dogs, however, the city made a huge mistake of cutting down heritage/old trees to give way to the ugly housing development across the park. Irresponsible decision. Not good for picnics since there are not a lot of trees for shade.
I come here most days during my lunch hour. It's a very beautiful park and cemetery at all times of the year. They have lots of historic buildings - some were built here and others were moved here. There are some nice gardens as well. They do events on the weekends and it's not unusual to see people taking pictures here.
Pretty Good Place for People who study history.
Surprisingly interesting place on Dublin's Irish American heritage. We couldn't do more as museum was closed. Will come next time! Good to work around.
Nice quiet park with lots of historical interest. Great place to take the kids.
