I called on a Wednesday asking to come test drive a car. I specified that I lived out of town and wanted to be sure that I could drive it and was promised I could. Then we get there and are told the car can't be driven because it hasn't been detailed (even though they had the vehicle at least two months). The salesman took my number and said the car would be driveable in three days, or at the very most 5. Two days later I get a call from someone at Dublin Mazda asking about my experience. I gave my salesperson's name and explained the situation. The person on the phone made me an appointment to come see the car, promising to confirm with my salesman and have him confirm with me. The night before the appointment I still hadn't heard anything so I texted my salesman and got no response. The morning off I called and he apologized but said the car wouldn't be available for another 4 days (a week from when I went in). He said he'd call and let me know. Tomorrow is the day I was told I could come see the car and I've heard nothing. I called to talk to the sales manager and figure out what's going on, and was immediately put on hold. I really liked the car so I held for 18 minutes before giving. Don't give your business to these people. They can't even be bothered to schedule a test drive for a customer, they won't talk to each other, and seem genuinely disinterested.
Disorganized!
Went on Sunday for test drive. The dealer, Robert, scanned us and had us sit in his office and questioned us if we were going to buy the car. When we said not at the moment, we were sent away saying they are busy. And, he just went off to talk to other staff. Seems not busy at all. My wife and I work during the weekdays that's why we go on weekends but he told us to come on weekdays. Are you kidding me? I am so mad. What a salesman. He selectively chooses customers and turns customers away if you are not buying the car on the spot. I would not recommend buying a car from this guy. Never felt insulted and mistreated like this before. Worst experience.
I agree with all of the 1 and 2 star reviews. I went in last week walking around the lot and was never greeted. Walked into the showroom floor and still no greetings. It seems like the bad customer service from Mazda is not location specific. Stevens Creek Mazda is the same. For some reason with Mazda, the finance person is always worst than the salesman. I really like the new CX-5, but at what cost? I really don't want to deal with a finance jerk and a salesman that lies.
My husband and I ventured over to Dublin Mazda on a whim Saturday morning to see about trading in our old car and buying a new one. We got there a few minutes after they opened and started looking at the Mazda3. Michael B. approached us and walked us through a few of the cars. We took two out for a test drive and decided on the Touring. Great experience, and everyone we talked to was very helpful, particularly Michael. The entire process took around 5 hours (longer than we expected!), but we drove away in our new car, very happy with our purchase and the experience. No one was pushy in the slightest and when I found a lower price for the car on their website, Michael was quick to fix our paperwork. Highly recommended!
I love bringing my Mazda here for service as they take great care of their customers. Their service completion is timely and they are excellent at communication. I never feel like I have to call for a status update because they are always on top of things. Keep up the great work!
